Merhav Mohar, Israel's 22 year-old boxing champion who dreams of world rankings, departs for New York to pursue his passion. The grandson of Holocaust survivors who established a kibbutz in Israel, Mohar scores one boxing victory after another until a day arrives when he needs unfathomable fighting spirit for his very survival. Although director Davidovich never followed the sport before, Mohar's vitality and determination inspired him to document the young man's path to the world championship match in Atlanta.
